It will make it very easy to follow along.Rules are as follows:
Fishing starts at 6:00 am and ends at 3:00pm.1. All fish must be caught on Rod and Reel.
2. Artificial or Live bait permitted.
3. Nets are permitted to land your fish.
4. Maximum of 2 anglers per boat.
5. Boat Number and T-Shirt must be visible in all photos and must be sent in immediately after fish release.
6. All fish must be caught and released from boat.Pay out will be with 100% payback.25% of the pot for longest Snook

25% mystery boat number random drawl.In the event of a tie in any category we'll go old school and roll the dice. (Facebook live) Highest number in one roll wins.Like I said before. This isn't anything too serious. Just want to go out have some fun, catch some fish and maybe make a little cash. I chose to do it this way to make it as fair as possible for everyone. Captains and Guides to the average weekend warrior. Only takes one good fish to get a check.Entry fees can be paid Via Facebook pay, Zelle, Cash app or old fashioned check or cash. Anglers arriving at 4:01 pm will be disqualified. The weigh-in will be at the Salty Shamrock Gastro Grille. 6816 US Hwy 41, Apollo Beach, FL 33572.-This is a catch-photo-and-release tournament. Each angler/team must provide at least one digital camera with a clear memory card or cell phone pictures will be allowed.-Each team will select ONE artificial lure to use for the Super Lure. Both anglers MUST use the same lure. You may have multiple of that lure on your boat, but they all must be the same model, color, and size. Anglers using soft plastics may rig baits using jigheads, weedless hooks, circle hooks, etc. as long as they use the same model, color, and size soft plastic. Bait scents may be used. No live bait, dead bait, cut bait, frozen bait, chumming, or tipping is allowed.-Super Lure anglers may wade or fish from a boat, canoe, kayak, paddleboard, shoreline, dock, bridge, pier, etc. Anglers fishing with a partner from a kayak, paddleboard, or wading must stay within 50 yards of their partner and their vessel.-Largest 2 redfish, combined total inches to the nearest ¼ inch will win. There will be prizes for the 1st place winners. Tie breakers will be determined by check in time.-There will also be an additional “Calcutta” tournament for most spots on ONE side of a redfish. Entry fee for the Calcutta is $20. The total Calcutta pot will be awarded for the angler with the most spots on ONE side of a redfish. Tie breakers will be determined by check in time.-Tournament boundaries are from Safety Harbor to the north, to Emerson Point to the south and Ft. Desoto to the west. Anglers must launch from one of the 6 designated launch sites but fish anywhere in between the boundaries, but lines may not be in the water prior to 6:45 am.-The whole fish must be in the picture along with approved measuring device, selected lure, and tournament marker. A picture of your launch site also must be submitted. Pictures that do not meet tournament requirements will not be counted and the angler(s) will be disqualified.-There will be a prize raffle after the weigh-in at the Salty Shamrock Gastro Grille. The raffle will take place around 4:45pm on 10/17/2020. Tickets will be available for purchase. 100% of ALL tournament proceeds will benefit Shands Pediatric Hospital (UF Health Congenital Heart Single Ventricle Program).-Required USCG safety gear must on board for those anglers fishing from a boat. Anglers must also possess a valid Florida saltwater fishing license and adhere to all state fishing regulations. Super Lure tournament anglers will also show courtesy to other tournament and recreational anglers. Super Lure anglers will also be expected to follow the honor system in this tournament by sticking with their selected artificial lure and adhering to tournament rules. If you cheat in a fishing tournament, you are just pathetic and sad. -
