    It’s a Wahoo Tournament!!
    • The 2019 Wahoo Classic is a 2-Fish aggregate tournament.
    • The winner is only required to weigh one fish. If a boat’s single fish outweighs all weighed 2-fish aggregates, that boat will be declared the winner.
    • Tournament date is Saturday December 7th.
    • “Weather Day” is Sunday December 8th.
    • In the event that both December 7th & 8th are both blown out by weather: Starting Monday December 9th through Sunday December 22nd (excluding Friday December 13th), participants will be able to pick their day and declare that day by 9pm the night prior by text or phone call to 904.859.6314. Friday December 13th is excluded (not an eligible fishing day) due to the Annual Bluewater Club Christmas Party
    • Check Out/In: No check out – Fishing begins at Safe Light. Fishing ends at 4:00 PM Any fish caught after that will not count. All boats not weighing must check in by text or phone by 7PM. Weigh in starts at 4:30 PM at Palms Fish Camp and Ends at 6:30 PM. If weighing by boat you must be North of Clapboard Creek Bridge and in site of weigh master at 6:30PM to weigh in. You DO NOT have to weigh in by boat. You may transport your fish to the weigh in site. The line will be tagged and closed at 6:30.
    • Entry Fee: Non-Club Members $400, Current Club Members $350
    • Calcuttas: $100.00 heaviest 2 aggregate and a $100.00 biggest Wahoo Calcutta
    • No registered vessel may come into contact with another vessel unless an emergency situation arises.
    • All Registered Boats must follow all State and Federal Laws.
    • No mutilated fish may be weighed
    • No boat line can be used, wire lines permitted.
    • All fish must be caught on rod and reel only no electric reels
    • In case of tie, winner will be determined by earliest to weigh in
    • Tournament is OPEN TO THE PUBLIC. YOU DO NOT NEED TO BE A CLUB MEMBER TO PARTICIPATE.
    • Formal Protest must be in writing to the Board of Directors with a $100.00 Non-Refundable check to the Jacksonville Blue Water Club
    • To be in the tournament, Form Completed and all Tournament fees and Calcutta Paid and turned in at the Captains Meeting on Thursday December 5th at the Palms Fish Camp @ 7PM.
    • All proceeds from this tournament are used to fund the Jacksonville Bluewater Club Awards & Christmas Party.

    The Stuart Sailfish Club (SSC) has hosted the Annual Light Tackle Sailfish Tournament (LTT) for more than 65 years, in conjunction we are proud to be reintroducing the Treasure Coast Championship (TCC) . The Light Tackle Tournament will be held December 11th-14th, 2019, this tournament is also a family event and helps benefits the Club’s Scholarship fund.  Every year, the Club provides scholarships to five-six Martin County students who are furthering their education in the fields of Marine Science, Marine Biology or Marine Conservation

    The Tournament includes two divisions of competition, the LTT and the TCC which you are eligible to enter at no cost providing you fish all three legs, the Pirates Cove, LTT and the Pelican. Because the Stuart Sailfish Club is a not for profit 501©3, all registration fees and donations are tax deductible.

    The event also includes a kick-off party and nightly events.  All registered participants enjoy a free daily breakfast beginning at 5:30 a.m. Lunch to Go plus nightly dock barbecues followed by our awards banquet dinner on Saturday, December 14th.

    #powerpoledown fall series information. We’ve received a lot of questions about the PPD series in the fall..The central west coast closure was a set back in our plans so here is the latest..The theme for this series is fun! Less travel, less money and a lot of fun!
