The RedSnook Catch and Release Charity Tournament is a reminder of one of the treasures of our region – our waterways. Without clean and abundant supplies of water, recreational and sport fishing would be a thing of the past. The tournament supports the work of the Conservancy to keep our waters clean and to preserve and enhance our fisheries.

Friday, October 8th Angler Bag Pick up
Saturday October 9th & Sunday October 10th Leave the dock at 7am, lines in at 7:30am and teams must return to the dock by 3:30pm (3 Launch Sites) Bayview Park Naples, Safe Harbor Calusa Marina Goodland or Outdoor Resorts Chokoloskee. All scoring is done virtually using the iAngler app.

This year, it will take place Saturday, October 9th at Tarpon Point Marina and The Village Shoppes and will be hosted by B103.9’s morning show – Big Mama and the Wild Bunch! The awards dinner will take place at The Nauti Mermaid at The Westin Cape Coral Resort.

Just like every great fishing tournament, a special captain’s meeting will take place the day before the tournament, Friday, October 8th at Pincher’s in Cape Coral!
This tournament is a fun way to raise money for a great cause, Partners for Breast Cancer Care, Inc.
Racks & Reels is for all the ladies out there that want to fish for a great cause! It’s YOUR TURN to get out there and fish – to show the gentlemen that Ladies Can Fish Better!


Captains Meeting at Kretchs Restaurant Marco Island
Cost: $250 per team
There will be (3) Three Entry Categories to choose from:
Each member of your team will be entered with the same category, and IGFA Rules and tackle specifications apply.
The rules will be reviewed at the Captian's Party on Friday evening.
Boundaries shall be Venice Jetty to the North, and Boca Grande Pass to the South.
There are no minimum size restrictions for Snook on tournament day as this is a 100% release tournament.
We will have a great lineup of prizes from local and national brands, as well as a "Auction in a Box" presented by CCA (Coastal Conservation Association) on Friday night.

We will start off the event with a Captain's Party on Friday, Oct 22nd, at our waterfront venue, Sunset Terrace, where you and your team (minimum of 2 members, maximum of 3) will enjoy the evening's planned activities that include:

The 4th Annual Hook'em in the Glades is fishing fundraiser is October 23, 2021! Teams will fish the 10,000 islands for a chance to catch the biggest Snook, Redfish, and Seatrout while supporting our school. Our fundraiser will help generate much needed funds for our students and programs including the launch of our new Leader in Me program.
CAPTAIN'S MEETING: - Captains' meeting will be at Parkway Motel & Marina, located at 1180 Chokolskee Dr, Chokoloskee, Captain's Check-in & Happy Hour starts at 5:30pm. Dinner will be served at 6:30pm. Captains must attend to receive their official tournament measuring device and tournament rules.
Tournament: - Photo Fishing tournament begins at 7:00am. Boat check-in is between 1:00-3:30pm at Parkway Motel & Marina, located at 1180 Chokoloskee Dr.!
Junior Angler SHORE DIVISION must check-in by 2:30pm. Awards Ceremony at 3:00pm.

Free boat launch from Everglades Isle in Everglades City
The boat team will select the a division to compete for a team trophy. The targeted species are Snook, Redfish, and Seatrout

Students will compete for individual award categories of longest Snook, Redfish, & Seatrout. Student can also enter the student team division and compete for a student team trophy
Free boat launch from Everglades Isle in Everglades City
CCPS students that have their own boat may enter this category with a signed release from their parent or guardian. The crew is determined by the student boat captain and the legal number of boat occupants.

must be supervised by an adult.
Fish from shore of angler's choice. Docks at Everglades Isle will be open for Junior On-Shore anglers who are supervised by an adult.

Serious fly fishermen compete to catch the longest snook and redfish. Each inch equals a point, with awards being given to this fishing series top winner.
This year there is one difference in how the competition works, anglers and guides can now trailer to any destination from Key West to Flamingo.

The Jacksonville Flounder Pounder is a charity fishing tournament started by Chip Davis and Troy Hutto in September 2010. It's more than a fishing tournament - It's for a good cause helping autistic kids and bettering their future. All proceeds go to JSA (Jacksonville School for Autism)
