The Salty Paws Inshore Fishing Tournament will benefit Hands & Paws Dog Rescue, a 501c3 animal rescue. This will be an inshore catch-and-release fishing tournament. Anglers will be competing for the largest snook, redfish, and trout with cash prizes for each. There will also be a Calcutta option at registration.
There will be a weigh-in party beginning at 2 p.m. at Hooters of Port Richey with raffles and giveaways during the party. Food and drinks will be available for purchase.
A mandatory captains meeting will be held 6:30 p.m. Friday, May 17, at Armed Anglers in Holiday. For those who haven’t pre-registered, registration will begin at 5 p.m. The captains meeting will begin at 6 p.m. Location for the captains meeting will be announced soon.
