Being held on November 7-10, the Dust’em Off is a low cost incentive to the ordinary early season practice day. The tournament will be hosted this year at the historic Maxwell Room located at 10 S. New River Drive East in Ft. Lauderdale, FL! This year, the Dust’em Off has 3 divisions – Professional, Semi-Professional and Charter Boat. We’ve received a lot of questions about the PPD series in the fall..The central west coast closure was a set back in our plans so here is the latest..The theme for this series is fun! Less travel, less money and a lot of fun! Entry fee 200 per team Two divisions Steinhatchee and Jacksonville Dates (still confirming but these are the dates as of now) Steinhatchee Sept 28 2019 Oct 26 2019 Jax 11/9 2019 12/14 2019 Most weight after two events in your division wins customized championship belts! Fish just your division or all four if are up for the challenge! We will have more information out on these events in the next few weeks but these are the main details.

Join us for a special holiday Outpost Angler Academy with Ladies Let’s Go Fishing! Fishing enthusiasts can “Catch the Holiday Spirit” on November 23rd by participating in our Surf Fishing Academy with Guy Harvey Resorts Pro Guide Noel Kuhn in the morning and then touring the historic downtown for the kickoff of St Augustine’s famous Nights of Lights. Space is limited!
Event Schedule: (7:00-11:00 a.m.) THE CATCH : Instructions and surf fishing on the beach: Limited to 10. Registration of $85 includes a free pack of Fish Bites & coozies! Instructed by Guy Harvey Resort Pro Guide Noel Kuhn.
Afterwards, have lunch at the resort to meet one another (additional per person). You will have the afternoon open to venture around St. Augustine, go back to the beach, or keep fishing if you have your own rod. Then, make your way back to the Night of Lights tour!
(6:00-7:00 p.m.) The Holiday Spirit : Night of Lights Tour Evening Optional Excursion: Tour the acclaimed Night of Lights to view glistening lights from ground to rooftops on a luxury golf cart, with a stop to grab a beverage! Tour fee of $25 includes a cocktail. Traveling with husband or friend? It’s ok to sign them up for the tour too, please do so in advance! This sells out quickly and is limited to 20 participants.

Florida East Coast Surf Fishing group. The rules have been made and the tournament is set. $150 per team, 3 man team. you are allowed a 4th person as a helper for video and photo. 4 rods per team, 5ft shark minimum qualifier. we need total lenth, fork lenth, sex of shark and coordinates of where shark was caught for NOAA regulations. Video and photo must be used for measuring, safe hook removal and release. Casting, kayak and drones are pemitted. No boats allowed. Picture must be taken within the shoreline. All FWC rules apply including shark permit course. Points scale for sharks is below.
Part 2 Pompano and Whiting Date: November 29, 2025 (Black Friday) to November 30, 2025 (Saturday) Time: 6pm-12pm (noon) Limit 2 rods per angler. Location: East Coast of Florida Cost: $30 (both classes included) Optional: $10 Calcutta The captain’s meetings will be Friday November 22, and Tuesday November 26, at Mary McLeod Bethune Beach Park at 6:30pm, so you can pay your entry fees. (if you are to far to make the meeting pm us) The weigh in will be from 1230-230 at the same location as the Captain’s meeting.
*Any member that is fishing on a shark team can not enter the Pompano and Whiting class. *All fishing must be done oceanside, rivers and inlets are DQ.
