The second annual Fish Like MADD on Sept. 9th 2022 is sure to be an amazing tournament with great prizes. Anglers and novices alike can sign up their teams (up to four anglers) for the coveted trophy! This is an in-shore tournament. Eligible fish are snook, sea trout and red fish. The 22nd Annual Flatsmaster Tournament Series. 4 Qualifying events plus The Flatsmaster Championship Tournament. No expensive travel costs. Real Captain’s Meetings with food, T Shirts and Raffels. The 13th Annual Bert’s Redfish Challenge will be held at Bert’s Bar and Grill in Matlacha, FL on September 16, 2025 and September 17, 2022. This year we are raising money for the Son of a Lee County Sheriff’s Deputy who recently had a heart transplant. Bryson is 3 years old born with a rare heart condition, Non-Obstructive Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy. This rare disease causes thickening of the walls of the heart, eventually impeding the circulation of adequate blood to support the body. It is the number one cause of sudden cardiac arrest in people under the age of 30. Bryson’s condition progressed to Restrictive Cardiomyopathy and the need for a heart transplant was apparent. After several months in inpatient care waiting for a heart, Bryson received his new heart on his 3rd Birthday and has been recovering at Shands Children’s Hospital in Gainesville, FL. The money raised will be utilized by Bryson’s family to continue caring for Bryson and to take care of expenses related to his medical condition and treatment.
