25th Annual Yacht Club Kid’s Fishing Derby Cape Coral 2021

Kids ages 5 - 16 are invited to join in the Yacht Club’s 25th Annual Fishing Derby on Saturday, September 25th. Due to the popularity of the event, we will have 2 time slots this year -
8am & 10am
Check-in will begin 15 minutes prior to scheduled time. Once checked in we will have complementary breakfast for participants and a quick angler education before we start the tournament.
The cost is just $8 per child and includes breakfast and a free rod and reel for each participant.
Advanced registration is required and time slots will be filled on a first come, first serve basis. There will be trophies and prizes for every division including the top angler prize - a private fishing charter courtesy of Capt. Cook’s Charters. 2nd Place overall will receive a family eco tour courtesy of Skinny Water Paddling.
Divisions are 8 & under, 12 & under and 16 & under.
Bait will be provided (frozen shrimp).

Local2396 Collier Professional Firefighters and Paramedics are hosting the Second annual Romp In The Swamp fundraiser and silent auction on 02/22/2014. Admission to the Kick Off is free. Food for the event was provided courtesy of Tavern On The Bay, Publix, and donations. We will have a 50/50, great prizes, and a good time! Throughout the year members of the local, their families, and youth organizations are in need of financial assistance. This year Local2396 decided to create a benevolent fund to help them meet these requests. Each year the Romp In The Swamp Event will select one foundation to be a recipient of 50% of the proceeds.
