The second annual Fish Like MADD on Sept. 9th 2022 is sure to be an amazing tournament with great prizes. Anglers and novices alike can sign up their teams (up to four anglers) for the coveted trophy! This is an in-shore tournament. Eligible fish are snook, sea trout and red fish. LCEC hosted Fishing Tournament, with all proceeds benefiting the local United Way of Lee, Hendry, Glades, and Okeechobee counties. Supporting our mission to contribute to our local communities in philanthropic endeavors.
• Only $80 per angler.
• Commemorative t-shirt (while supplies last) guaranteed if registered before event.
• Tournament fish include Redfish, Trout, Snook, Grand Slam will consist of 1 Redfish, 1 Trout and 1 Snook.
•Awards event cancelled due to COVID. Prizes will be awarded to winners individually.

The 22nd Annual Flatsmaster Tournament Series. 4 Qualifying events plus The Flatsmaster Championship Tournament. No expensive travel costs. Real Captain’s Meetings with food, T Shirts and Raffels. Over $125,000 in cash and prizes for 2022!! This is a Multi-Species, Multi Format Tournament. Teams may have up to 3 anglers, maximum 50 teams per event with a ” No Entry Fee Championship”
All Capt. Meetings & weigh ins are held in Air Conditioned comfort inside Laishley Crab House in Punta Gorda.
I wanted to take this time to tell everyone who we will be helping with the proceeds from this year’s tournament. We’ve always been different in how we contribute…rather than contributing to an organization, we have always given the proceeds directly to a family in need. This year is no different.
We are honored to contribute all proceeds of the 10th Annual GH3 Invitational to Lucy Donmoyer. She is the daughter of Jordan & Jessica Donmoyer, and the granddaughter of Jim & Cindy Donmoyer. Jim Donmoyer has been a loyal contributor to the GH3 Fishing Tournament since its inception, and Team Big Deck wouldn’t catch fish without his presence on the boat! Funny, but very true!
In April of 2020, Lucy was diagnosed with High Risk Neuroblastoma, a cancerous tumor at the back of her stomach, spanning from the bottom of her lungs to the top of her pelvis. You can find all the details of her story on the #LucyStrong Facebook page which I will provide below. It has been a 2-1/2 year battle for Lucy and her family so far, but she is a fighter and we are proud to honor her this year!

The 13th Annual Bert’s Redfish Challenge will be held at Bert’s Bar and Grill in Matlacha, FL on September 16, 2022 and September 17, 2022. This year we are raising money for the Son of a Lee County Sheriff’s Deputy who recently had a heart transplant. Bryson is 3 years old born with a rare heart condition, Non-Obstructive Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy. This rare disease causes thickening of the walls of the heart, eventually impeding the circulation of adequate blood to support the body. It is the number one cause of sudden cardiac arrest in people under the age of 30. Bryson’s condition progressed to Restrictive Cardiomyopathy and the need for a heart transplant was apparent. After several months in inpatient care waiting for a heart, Bryson received his new heart on his 3rd Birthday and has been recovering at Shands Children’s Hospital in Gainesville, FL. The money raised will be utilized by Bryson’s family to continue caring for Bryson and to take care of expenses related to his medical condition and treatment.
