Free Kid’s Fishing Tournament at the Yacht Club Pier Sunday, July 11 beginning at 10:00am. Divisions are: 16 & under, 11 & under and 7 & under. We will have trophies for the winners. *Registration is Required*
We will be hosting our offshore club tournament on Saturday, July 17th! This will be a single day tournament with a weigh in location.
Our usual cash purse of $500 will apply with the prize breakdown: 1st place: $300.00 2nd place: $150.00 3rd place: $50.00
Target species will be combined weight of 4 fish: (2) Red Grouper and (2) Snapper. The only eligible snapper species will be Lane, Vermillion, Mangrove, and Yellowtail. American Red Snapper are NOT eligible.
We will have a weigh in location TBA shortly.
We will cover rules and additional details at our next meeting on Thursday, July 8th at 6:30 pm at Rusty’s Raw Bar and Grill in Cape Coral.

Bob is a long-time member of the Southwest Florida Seminole Club Board of Directors. He also serves on the United Way of Lee, Hendry, Glades, and Okeechobee Counties Board of Directors. The 2021 Sean Shearman Garnet and Gold Fishing Tournament will take place July 16 and 17 at Tween Waters Island Resort & Spa. Cost per angler is only $150.
Sean was a student at
Florida State University
and a member of the Alpha Tau Omega fraternity when he was involved in a fatal car accident in October 2020. Proceeds from the fishing tournament will fund the Sean Shearman Scholarship, helping a local student heading to #FSU.
