Join us for the annual AJ’s Big Mac Classic Fishing Tournament September 17-19th and reel in your catch for Ronald McDonald House Charities of Northwest Florida!
Tournament Information:
This will be an all King Mackerel event with 1st-3rd place cash awards for the 3 largest fish overall and 3 place aggregate awards for a two fish aggregate weight winner for both Saturday and Sunday, as well as an overall 3 fish aggregate total weight.
You weigh a maximum two-fish daily and declare on Saturday if you want one or both to count to your overall aggregate. With 3 aggregate divisions, and the overall Big Mac, there are plenty of ways to win cash awards… Calcuttas too!
Schedule of Events:
Friday, September 17th: Registration 4-8:30pm | Captain’s dinner 6pm
Saturday, September 18th: Scales open 3pm-7pm
Sunday, September 19th: Scales open 12pm-5pm | Awards begin at 6pm

In 2014, Drew Barefield was severely injured in a boating accident. His parents stayed at Ronald McDonald House (RMH) for 75 days while Drew underwent 16 surgeries. “It’s invaluable. With all the stress and struggles that you’re going through in the hospital, it is a home away from home,” shared Trey (Drew’s father). The Barefield family loves fishing and the Ronald McDonald House! Last year, they combined both and entered into the Big Mac Classic Fishing Tournament to support RMH!
