So excited to be a part of this fun tournament! We have had lots of questions about the format. We will answer all questions at registration with boat number assignment which begins at 5pm, SeaHag Marina and a mandatory captains meeting for at least one team member at 7pm. Here are some of the answers to the basic questions. We have a rockin raffle & silent auction benefiting CCA STAR Youth Scholarship fund that will wrap up after captains meeting.
All boats must be checked in with their fish & photos submitted by 3pm. There will be a live weigh-in beginning 3pm on Saturday at SeaHag for heaviest two fish bag for slot redfish with optional side pot of $20 per angler for heaviest red. The trout division is a catch/photo division for longest trout. Photos may be submitted via I-angler, text or email. Trout will NOT be brought to weigh-in. Device for measurement of trout will be provided at registration. There will be an optional side pot of $20 for longest trout as well.
The morning of the tournament all boats will gather in front of SeaHag for live-well check & playing of national anthem. Boats will be released by boat number beginning at 7am. Boats will be called by number in groups of 10, they will pass the SeaHag long dock get their wells checked & anglers must be wearing life vests.
Again this is a fun tournament $100 per boat, 2 Anglers with a 100% payout of registration & side pots. Even if you are not fishing, come out Friday night to SeaHag enjoy a toast of Eggnog spiked with Papa’s Pilar, find some great raffle & silent auction items to finish off your Christmas shopping & support Youth Education.
