  • Single Angler (Separate Division)  = $40
  • Team of 3 = $125
  • Team of 4 = $175

Reel Ladies Tournament Rules

  • Separate divisions for Single Anglers and Teams
  • Lines in the water at 8 AM
  • Anglers MUST check-in back at Salty Shamrock NO LATER THAN 3PM
  • Live and Artificial baits allowed.
  • Ladies may fish from land, docks, bridges, kayaks, or boats.
  • Ladies may fish with a male captain.
  • All fish must be caught with handheld rods and reels.
  • Lady angler must hook, fight and bring the fish to point of net or
    gaff.
  • One photo of each caught species must be provided to tournament
    judge when fish is caught. Please include issued token card in the
    photo. Do not wait until end of day to email photos as ties will be
    determined by earliest entry. Email photo (no texts) to ccascoring.outlook.com
  • Include team number, and fish species on subject line Your email
    will be replied to that it was received. Also, please check targeted
    species caught on photo scorecard and return to scorekeeper upon
    check in at Salty Shamrock. If you are having trouble sending, please
    call 813-735-6975
  • Rules committee will make any weather decisions. All decisions by committee are final.

    I apologize for the time this has taken to make our final decision.After looking at the past years of our beloved Casting for Cats Womens fishing tournament our number of lady anglers has dropped each year, in order to keep up with our ever changing time Casting for Cats will be changing it’s format. Now we will include women anglers fishing with there Captain or there husband to become a team event We will still have a Grand Champion female angler but we will also have other division . We are hoping this change will bring in more anglers male and female to cover the cost we all incurred by having tournaments. With this new change we now will be challenged with a new set of rules to make it fun and fair for all. We feel we need to ”Paws” to make these changes . We have just booked the Islander Resort for Oct.17 and 18 2024 . Thank you for so many years of your support we greatly hope this change will keep this tournament here for many years to come.

    Fish Like MADD is a photo fishing tournament using iAngler app and targeting snook, redfish, and seatrout.
    $400 entry per a team up to 4 Anglers including Captain
    $100 per an additional Angler
    -October 25th-
    Captains Meeting: 6:30PM - 7:30PM @ Snug Harbor Waterfront Restaurant.
    -October 26th-
    Tournament: 7AM - 4PM.
    Awards Ceremony: 7PM @ Snug Harbor Waterfront Restaurant.
    -Cash Prizes-
    1st: $3,000
    2nd: $2,000
    3rd: $1,000
    4th: Free boat entry for next year's tournament.
    Teams will also have the option to sign up for an additional $2,000 in bonus money. $500 will be given for each of the following categories.
