A fun fishing tournament with unique trophies and cash prizes. Invite your family, friends, co-workers, young anglers and come join us for the annual Missy King’s Hookin for Habitat fishing tournament. Hosted by Kountry Girl Salon and Habitat for Humanity of Marion County. The Tournament promotes a healthy and friendly outdoor experience for the entire family and encourages the youth to be involved and learn about fishing and our waterways. All proceeds will be used towards the construction of a new Habitat home for low-income families with affordable mortgage payments.
Tournament Time:
SAFELIGHT to 4:00 PM
Where to Fish:
Gulf of Mexico or surrounding waterways – saltwater fish only. You can Fish alone, or with a group (no limit), fish from a boat, paddle boat, kayak, canoe, inflattable tube, paddle board, jet ski or simply have your toes in the water.
Weigh In: Saturday, May 21, 2022
12PM-4PM @ Captains Cove Outfitters at 39 W HWY 40 Inglis FL (behind huge ice machine). Fish MUST be at weigh in by 4pm!
Prizes:
PRIZES: (based on paid teams, payout may vary & change throughout registration) All fish must be of legal weight and length – Winners selected by the heaviest fish in each category except for the ugliest fish category. Anglers can enter ONE fish per category. If a tie (same weight), it goes to the first angler to record their catch.

Rules: Catch an ugly fish – a fish you would not keep. Take a picture with you, the fish and your angler card. Text your picture to the number provided and return fish to the water. Be creative – with funny faces or a cool pose with your fish. If you bring the ugliest fish to weigh-in – your entry will be disqualified. Do not text pictures of fish that you would enter into the fishing tournament. Ugly fish to include but not limited – stingrays, blow fish, mud fish, etc. The committee will review all entries and select the TOP Ugliest fish. $100 prize for the angler with the ugliest fish. Send us some original, funny, unique pics of your ugly fish. You never know if there will be more than one winner. Fish pictures may be posted on social media.
