The Fingers O’Bannon Memorial Fishing Tournament is a prestigious invite only tournament dedicated to the life and memory of the late Floyd “Fingers” O’Bannon.
Born October 10, 1926 Fingers O’Bannon became famous for fishing our pristine local waters. His death on September 27, 1993 prompted many to take action to remember his legacy.
On behalf of Cabbage Key and the O’Bannon family we would like to thank all past and present sponsors and congratulate previous winners and anglers that have made the tournament such a success year after year. As always, we look forward to your participation again this following year.

This boat team event is broken down into seven different divisions and anglers vie for top dollar prizes.
This Florida Keys fishing tournaments teams can have up to six registered anglers with a field of 60 - 69 boats. With over $30,000 in prizes, contestants will be awarded for the largest bull and cow combined, plus cash prizes are also given for wahoo, tuna, tripletail, grouper and snapper division winners.

Loop Golden Fly Invitational Tarpon Tournament
Test your casting skills against the mighty tarpon at this event. Special flies, and a tournament-furnished tippet not greater than 16-pound test add to the excitement of this popular event.
Weight and length restrictions apply for points. Eligible tarpon must measure at least 48 inches in length to earn release points. The tarpon also must weigh at least 70 pounds for weight points.
