The Tarpon Tournament Committee made the difficult decision to postpone the9th Annual “Ding” Darling & Doc Ford’s Tarpon Tournament to May 2021.
Due to the impacts of COVID-19, the infinite number of variables with an event this size, and the unforeseeable future in the short term, we felt this decision is necessary to prioritize the health and safety of our supporters, participants, staff, and volunteers. Thank you for your understanding.
The Tournament Committee decided to roll the entry fees into this year’s tournament, doubling the prize winnings for 2021. 2020 paid teams who remained registered for the tournament were guaranteed a spot and kept their starting position. They were only required to pay a fee of $500/team of four anglers for the 2021 tournament when registration opened on December 4, 2020.
Participants who requested a refund lost their spot and starting position in the tournament. All new participants for 2021 are required to register for $1,000 for a team of four ($500 for 2020 and $500 for 2021).
