Join us for The Salty Fishing Clubs first Club Tournament of 2019 which will be our Salty Sheepshead Challenge. This tournament will have 3 Categories: The Heaviest Sheepshead, The Longest Sheepshead & Two Sheepshead Closest to 17 inches each.
– Entry Fee is $25 per club member and $55 for nonmembers (in addition to entry to the tournament with this $55 entry fee you will also become a lifetime club member and receive a 2018 club shirt)
– Each Angler can enter a Sheepshead into each category but it cannot be the same Sheepshead (ex. total of 4 fish can be entered across the 3 categories)
– Angler can only win one category (once an angler wins a category and if applicable they will be omitted from the remaining categories)
– This will be a per Angler Tournament.

– Lines in water no earlier than 7:30am
– Each Sheepshead that will be entered in a category must be measured on ruler and a picture taken with token. (pictures are for verification purposes only when at weigh in. Do not send pictures in)
– Measuring of fish should be with nose of fish on zero and a
straight shot of fish on ruler
– Boundary is within Edmont Key markers and in
– Follow Florida Regulations
– Anglers may fish from land, boat or kayak
– Cash payouts to 1st and 2nd in each category
– if possible bring cleaning equipment to assist with cleaning of fish
– Anglers will need to the back at Salty Shamrock for weigh-in no later than 3:30pm or you will be disqualified from tournament.
– There will be a free fish fry after weigh-in for all anglers in tournament. Feel free to bring back as many Sheepshead (within size and bag limit) to be used for fish fry.
Please join us Friday, February 8th at 6:30pm for our 3rd Annual Sheepshead Challenge Captain’s Meeting at Salty Shamrock. Anglers of all ages and levels are encouraged to join us. We will be:
– Signing up new members
– $30 lifetime membership which will also include our 2018 club shirt
– Collecting Tournament Entry Fees
– $25 per Angler
– Answering any outstanding questions you may have
– (NOTE: Rules of Tournament will be posted on Tournament Event page)
– Running a 50/50 Raffle
– Having Fun with friends and family.
