Join the 15th Annual All-Release Canterbury Cup, April 9th, 2022! Each year, the Marine Studies department of Canterbury School of Florida in St. Petersburg, FL, a 501 c3 non-profit school, hosts a family-friendly Catch and Release Fishing Tournament fundraiser to help support the Marine Studies program and conservation efforts that benefit our local Tampa Bay environment, some of which include marsh grass restoration, dolphin research, a SCUBA program, coastal cleanups, green infrastructure, and marine science education for k-12th grade students.
The Canterbury Cup, on April 9th, 2022, includes the tournament from 6:30 am- 1:30 pm and an after party event with lunch and family-friendly entertainment at the Snell Island Marina from 1:30 pm -4:00 pm. Fish from land, kayak, or boat anywhere in Tampa Bay within Egmont. Up to four anglers on a team! Tournament Registration ($80.00 adult angler and $25.00 youth angler) includes: Captains Meeting, Tournament, and After-party! The tournament will feature cash awards for adult anglers, awards and prizes for youth fishing anglers, raffles, auction, and after-tournament awards celebration! More than $2,000 in cash and prizes for adults, juniors (11–18), and youth (10 and under) anglers! Not interested in fishing? Register just for the after party to join in on the fun!
