    RedFly #14  Apollo Beach 2020

Well it is that time again!!! RedFly #14 is coming back to the Salty Shamrock in Apollo Beach, FL on 1/18/20. RedFly is the largest, longest running, fly-fishing for redfish only tournament in the country (to my knowledge) and it has been getting bigger and bigger each year.

This year, RedFly #14 will have a true Tampa Bay feel to it. 100% of all raffle proceeds will be going to Tampa Bay Waterkeeper. This is a grassroots organization whose focus is awareness and improvement upon water quality issues in Tampa Bay. Water quality is a statewide issue, with every estuary having to deal with its own issues. With the majority of our RedFly anglers being from the Tampa Bay area and the tournament being hosted in Apollo Beach, I really wanted to bring awareness to our local organization that addresses our water quality issues.

Like in years past, we have an awesome lineup of prize sponsors. We have several returning sponsors and many brand new sponsors. Not every prize is fly-fishing related so even if you are not a fly-Fisher or you don’t fish RedFly, you’ll want to be at the weigh-in on 1/18/20 to get in on some great prizes and support a great organization in Tampa Bay Waterkeeper.

I will be dropping prize sponsor announcements starting today so you can see the great companies that have joined the RedFly family…..or check out the hash tags below. RedFly entry fee is $25 per angler and it can be fished as an individual or as a team. Raffle tickets will be sold at the weigh-in on 1/18/20 at the Salty Shamrock in Apollo Beach, FL. Rules will be posted on the RedFly Tournaments Facebook page @redflytouraments and on my other Facebook page @shadowcastflyfishing. Give both a like and stay up to date on all RedFly #14 announcements.
